Japanese Woodblock Print 1895 by Gekko (1859-1920) Series 47 Ronin Yoshida Sawaemon

By Gekko Ogata (1859-1920). Original from 1895. Based on the Kabuki play that tells the story of the 47 Ronin who avenged their maser's death. At least one block of black color done in black lacquer. The label describes Kanesada as kinju rank, with 10 ryo (sannin fuchi) stipend and aged 29 at death.
