Original Paul Jacoulet woodblock print titled The
Mandarin with Glasses (Le Mandarin Aux Lunettes, Manchuria). Signed in pencil above a red seal on the lower
right. Printed in 1950. We have not taken it out of the frame
to see the printer and carver's names on the margin. Beautiful
coloring, iridescent and embossed patterns. Framed (hence the flash glare
in the pictures - my apologies but I don't want to take it out of the
frame) and matted in simple black frame. Framed dimensions are 22.5"
by 17.75". Frame and mat have some signs of age, print appears to be
in excellent condition.
